Lisa Murray » lisa murray blog http://lisamurray.com Filmmaker - Artist - Dreamer Fri, 06 Aug 2010 20:29:27 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Madagascar 2 Premiere http://lisamurray.com/2008/10/26/madagascar-2-premiere/ http://lisamurray.com/2008/10/26/madagascar-2-premiere/#comments Mon, 27 Oct 2008 04:40:22 +0000 LisaMurray http://lisamurray.com/?p=71 I am totally star struck.  This morning at the Madagascar 2 premiere in Westwood, CA, I saw sooo many stars!  Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, Adam Sandler, Mark Wahlberg, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Will.i.am, Fergie, Adam Richter, Cedric the Entertainer and more that I can’t remember right now.  It was a morning premiere since it was a children’s movie and everyone brought their kids.  I love when the stars and studio execs bring their kids to premieres or screenings because the playing fields are leveled.  You can be the highest paid movie star or the most powerful movie studio executive, but if your kid acts weird, rude or disrespectful towards you or others, suddenly in that moment you become just as vulnerable as the rest of us!  I didn’t see any famous people’s children getting crazy.  Overall it was an excited group of movie-goers today.  As I watched Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller talking in the lobby of the theatre, there was a brief moment that I felt like I was hanging out with them and that we were bffs.  But then I got called outside to help hand out stuffed Lions, Zebras, Ghiraffs and Hippos and I remembered… oh yeah… I’m working.  By the way, Mad 2 is a great movie.  The penguins are hilarious!  And King Julian is the star of the show as far as I’m concerned.  “Hello Freaks!”  “I’m a lady!”  “Which one of you is attracted to me?”  hahaha  Let me know what you think of it after you see it.  We have so many movies coming up over the next few months!

Hey everyone!  I am in the process of redesigning both of my websites so bear with me while I make the change.  For my SkyLifeProductions.com site, I wanted it to be easier to navigate and so I installed Wordpress onto the site. I needed something that I could update quickly AND a way to cataloge all of my postings for easier referencing.  I also wanted to consolidate all of my “dreamer links” and other resources all in one easy-to-find place.  Let me know what you think.

As far as for this site, I wanted to create a space that was separate from the business end of it all… a place that was just for ME to express ME.  I am hoping to post my poems (yes, I write poetry), my photos (yes, I take photographs), my personal blogs and other fun stuff.  I invite you to subscribe to the Reader so whenever I post something new it will show up on your Reader or you can chose to be emailed.  It’s up to  YOU!.  You have so much power.  Isn’t it amazing?  Power Rocks!
