Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!! 5 years ago TODAY I started filming my documentary, “I Have Dreams Dammit!” a film about the realities of the pursuit of dreams. Do you have a dream? Do you hate the word “dream”? The idea of living our dreams, to me, is really about what’s in your heart, right now. What do you want to do with your life? It’s not about what SOUNDS cool, or what OTHERS think is a cool thing. It’s about what YOU want, what’s in YOUR heart, no matter how “simple” (or complex) it is!! It doesn’t have to be career-oriented. It doesn’t have to involve others. It doesn’t have to be life-long. It’s just about what’s in YOU. Give YOURSELF the FREEDOM to live whatever that is!!

My dinner guests just left and after changing and throwing my hair on top of my head, I had a quick thought I wanted to record. Don’t think when you go for your dreams, there won’t be problems because there will be. But if you think about it, there will be problems in your life whether you go for what you really want or not, right? So might as well go for what you want and expect the worse case scenario and just tell yourself you’ll find a way through it, no matter what it is. Face your monsters!

It’s never too late to start a dream, switch a dream, add to a dream, continue a dream, etc. As long as you are breathing, it isn’t too late!! GO FOR IT! You have so much to bring this world with your experiences, don’t silence your voice.
